Happy New Year!
Goodbye (and good riddance) 2020 and welcome 2021 – we are sincerely hoping that the roll out of the vaccine will make the difference for us all in 2021. Please stay safe.
As we were in Tier 4, and now in another lockdown, the Club is closed but we are running our takeaway service from 9.30-3pm everyday. The gardens are open and the view over the Harbour is stunning – especially in this fabulous winter light.
We have revamped the takeaway menu to reflect the colder wintery weather! So we will be offering soup, chilli jackets, posh dogs with fries, burgers with fries, as well as our ever popular breakfast baps and of course the homemade cakes! Drop by the window and give it a try.
We also have some frozen meals available to collect, and reheat at home. So if you fancy a break from the cooking why not pick up one of the Chef’s delicious meals, there are plenty to choose from:
- fish pie
- beef and ale stew
- lamb hot pot
- 3 cheese macaroni
- pasta bolognaise
They all serve 2 and with your member’s discount are priced from £7.60 to £9.00
The following events have been postponed for now:
- the January rambles
- the Snowflake winter racing series
- all adult dinghy coaching and racing
- all youth coaching and 1:1 training
But events that can go online will, for example the First and Second Friday Section Socials, the winter lecture and January’s What’s New in Yacht’s.
