Bird Watching in Chichester Harbour

Come and enjoy some winter visitors to our lovely harbour.
Did you know in the Winter Chichester Harbour is home to thousands of migrating birds escaping the harsher climates in the North – the picture show Brent Geese that arrive from Siberia each year – the harbour is a very important feeding station for them.
Come and join Kerry Jackson RSPB volunteer and have a guided bird walk to identify and learn more.
Meet at West Wittering Car Park PO20 8AJ – parking Charge £3.50. There are toilets.
Short flat walk to ‘The Pool’ where reasonable close views can be had and then for those that want to – a longer walk round the Head to see whats around on the shore
No formal lunch arrangements but bring snack and drink finish around 1pm.
Limited to 20 people – wrap warmly sensible footwear and bring binoculars (the ones from the boat will do!)
Will be cancelled if weather very wet and windy – so watch the website.
