A WALK UP FISHBOURNE CREEK
Saturday 24th October
Meeting at the CYC car park
Departure Time: The walk will leave at 10:00
Lunch: Tables will be booked at the club for lunch.
The walk: A 6(ish) mile walk up the side of Fishbourne Creek to Fishbourne Church and back along the Salterns Way. It will be low tide, so there will be lots of waders and other birds in the Creek, so bring your bins if you like.
The walk is all on the level. Though most of it should be dry, there will probably be a few muddy and wet sections, so wear suitable footwear. There are no stiles, but a few kissing gates. There are sections of the walk which are narrow, so we decided to limit numbers to 20 to avoid over monopolising the path when meeting others walking the other way. Please be considerate and step aside as necessary to maintain social distancing.
Walking time approx 3 hours including coffee stop.
Any queries or questions, please contact Walk Leaders: David or Gill on either 01243 410050 or by email: email@example.com
