CYC Ramble – 28th November (Postponed)

CYC Ramblers
In accordance with the current government guidelines, the November rambles are cancelled. We hope to re-schedule them in the New Year.

 

CYC Ramblers – Bird Walk

28th November: Meet CYC car park 1000

Easy (flat) walk to Itchenor observing the bird life on the way at high tide ( HW 1030).

Carry snack and drink – to be taken at the Hard, Itchenor (possible restrictions – not sure if the loos will be open).

Then walk back to CYC with the outgoing tide seeing how life for the harbour birds change as the water recedes on their feeding grounds.

No lunch arrangements but you can always book a table at the club. I will be lunching at the club and will be happy to discuss ‘bird life!’.

Sign up on CYC website. Limited to 20 people. About 6 miles. Can be squelchy underfoot. Bring binoculars.

Will be cancelled if extreme inclement weather!

COVID SAFETY MEASURES

 

1 Maximum 30 participants.

2 Every Participant is responsible for maintaining Social Distancing both from others in the group and other walkers on route.

3 Every Participant to bring own hand sanitiser and use before and after climbing over any stiles.

4 A designated person will be responsible for opening and shutting any gates.

5 “Rule of 6” to be strictly observed at any coffee/ lunch stops with no mingling between groups.
