Harbour Bird Walk

 

Saturday 23 January

Meet CYC car park 10:00

Easy (flat) walk to Itchenor observing the bird life on the way. Its a very narrow neap tide that day so hopefully the birds will be fairly close in to observe, carry a snack and drink – to be taken at the Hard, Itchenor (Loos hopefully will be open)

Then a brisker walk back to CYC. No lunch arrangements but you can always book a table (currently a table per household) at the club. I hope to lunch there myself.

Limited to 20 people. About 6 miles. Can be squelchy underfoot. Bring binoculars.

Will be cancelled if extreme inclement weather!

COVID SAFETY MEASURES

1 Please don’t come on the walk if you or any of your household have any symptoms of Covid 19 or if you or any of your household are self isolating.

2 In accordance with the new Tiers, please do not join the walk if you are currently resident in Tier 3.

3 Every Participant is responsible for maintaining Social Distancing both from others in the group and other walkers on route.

4 Every Participant to bring own hand sanitiser and use before and after climbing over any stiles.

5 A designated person will be responsible for opening and shutting any gates.

6 “Rule of 6” to be strictly observed at any coffee/ lunch stops with no mingling between groups.
