Yachts : Harbour Day Cruise – postponed

This is a one day cruise exploring the farthest reaches of Chichester Harbour – open to Motors, Yachts, RIBs and Dinghies. It is specifically aimed at those members with smaller yachts, or those wishing to build their confidence, sailing in company with other club boats over shorter distances than other cruises in the programme. The plan is to meet at the Club at 9am to decide on the destination and then motor/sail in convoy, at no more than 5 knots. Likely destinations may be Emsworth, Northney, East Head, Thorney Channel or Bosham Channel and then anchor and raft up for lunch before returning to CYC. The sun will surely shine all day and the seals will be out too. High water 09.14, Low water 14.45
