Come and join Sandra and me for this sunny early season shake down trip just to check that the sails go up and down and the prop goes round and round. Not only will it be sunny, with light northerly breezes to flatten the water and favourable tides but we will also have a relaxing lay day too. We will confirm the detailed social programme nearer to time but in the meantime this is the outline. We have reserved 10 berths in Yarmouth Harbour for two nights planning to depart Monday at about 0900hrs to take full advantage of the ebb tide once over Chichester Bar (HW 1100hrs).
We can then enjoy our traditional pontoon party on the Monday evening and have a free day to relax or explore on Tuesday with a pub supper in the evening.
On Wednesday mid morning, we have a short hop on the flood to Cowes where 10 berths are booked in the Yacht Haven.
On Thursday the cruise will formally finish, departing at about 0900hrs for those wishing to return to Chichester ( HW 1315hrs.) However, if the weather remains kind and diaries permit we might stay on an extra day on an impromptu basis. We could sail around to say Bembridge aiming to arrive at about lunchtime on the rising tide and return on the Friday. This might also suit those wishing to stay out and join Helen’s and Graeme’s Easter Cruise.
