Ramble: Lavington Common, Burton Park, Duncton

10am start, 30 booked for lunch

This very pleasant 5 mile walk takes in varied landscapes, starting in open country side, then heath and woodland across Lavington and Duncton Commons, then into parkland, Burton Park. Its pretty flat and involves only a very little bit of road. One stile, unless its really wet underfoot when we will prefer to put in a detour, to miss a very boggy stretch, of some 600 -700 metres along the road which is safe for pedestrians and doesn't add to the length of the walk. Otherwise, conditions underfoot should be OK.

Park at the Cricketers, Duncton, GU28 0LB, a really nice country pub for a 10am start. Lunch will require pre ordering, and 30 places have been booked.
