Snowflake 2026 concludes with close racing to the end.
The final day of the 2026 Snowflake Series delivered a welcome break from the winter rain, even if the sky remained stubbornly grey. Snowflake 7 & 8 "turned out nice again!"
Torrential rain greeted competitors as they arrived for the seventh and eighth races of the Snowflake Series, though the forecast offered some encouragement. As predicted, the rain eased shortly before the first start, revealing a steady westerly breeze of around 15 knots. Light Wind Sailing in Snowflake 5 & 6
Competitors arrived for the February Snowflake races to a scene that did little to inspire confidence: steady rain, a flat harbour, and a forecast offering barely a whisper of breeze. Merlins Boost the Snowflake Fleet
Sunday 18 January Grey skies, mild temperatures and a light northeasterly F3 breeze set the scene for Races 3 and 4 of the Snowflake Series. Knots and Ropework Practice
A keen group of ladies, known as Women on the Water met for a practical session on Saturday morning to further their skills of tying knots, in preparation for the coming season.
