CYC Ramblers - North Hayling Island Circular

Meeting at 9.45am in car park by Ship Inn, Langstone Road, Langstone, PO9 1RD,  for 10am start. Please car share if possible, the car park is jam-packed by lunchtime. 

This is a 5 mile walk over flat and for the most part easy ground with one stile. We shall explore the northern end of Hayling Island, seeing evidence of D-Day training preparations, a mysterious Russian princess and extensive disused oyster beds that are now a nature reserve. Couple that with glorious views over Chichester and Langstone Harbours (with maybe the odd alpaca) followed by lunch at The Ship Inn, what more could you ask for in a CYC winter ramble?
