Winter Lecture: Adventures Under Sail

Tim has sailed from an early age. He spent his teenage years racing catamarans off Leigh on Sea before serving a cadetship in the Merchant Navy. He was a member of the British Olympic sailing team between 1978 and 1984. In the subsequent years, in between marriage, kids and career, he has continued sailing on owned, chartered or friends boats. An RYA Ocean Yachtmaster and Cruising Instructor Tim will talk about his sailing since retirement which includes professional yacht delivery and sail training on board a 70 foot steel ketch.
