East Dean Ramble
The walk is 5 miles, mainly through woodland in Charlton Forest.
The plan is to meet by the Village Hall for a 10:00 departure. The Hall is situated just beyond the pub on the left (what3words: nitrogen.smirking.skip).
It may be possible to park in the Village Hall car park (a notice will be displayed outside if the hall is in use); otherwise, please park on the road.
There are no stiles, and there are gentle to moderate climbs in places.
A good menu is available at The Star and Garter (PO18 0JG). Lunch is booked for 13:00. Pre-ordering will be required.
