The Drovers Return Ramble

We will assemble from 9.30am outside The Partridge pub in Singleton for a prompt 9.45 departure. There is a pub car park and parking in the local roads but please car share if you can.

This 5.5 mile walk takes us through the National Trust Drovers Estate where we will visit the newly-restored Singleton railway station (on the old Chichester to Midhurst line) before continuing up into the South Downs. Suggest you bring something to sit on for the coffee stop. Being a Downs walk, there are several uphill stretches of varying steepness but also beautiful views and no stiles. We return via Levin Down to the pub for lunch at 1.15.

Maximum 30 participants for lunch which will need to be pre-ordered hence closing date for ramble + lunch and lunch only bookings is 18 March.
