Cherbourg, Channel Islands & Portland Cruise

This Channel Islands cruise runs from 25 May to 2 June, following on from the Cross Channel Race and starting in Cherbourg (25 May). Led by Richard and Clare Serna, with John and Pat Purslow as deputy leaders, the cruise is limited to eight boats to ensure a relaxed and sociable yacht club atmosphere. From Cherbourg, the fleet sails to St Peter Port, Guernsey (25?28 May), enjoying well-planned passages and time ashore to explore the islands. The cruise continues to St Helier, Jersey (28?30 May) before returning to St Peter Port (31 May) and then making the longer passage to Portland (1?2 June), where the cruise concludes with farewell drinks and dinner. Free days, optional excursions, pontoon parties and group meals are woven throughout the programme, offering an ideal balance of cruising, camaraderie and island discovery, with optional onward sailing to the West Country or back to the Solent.
