CYC Ramblers to Angmering Park

The first walk of the season will be exploring Angmering Park just to the east  of Arundel. We will meet around 0940 ready to start the walk at 1000 by parking  outside the former Fox pub in Arundel Road, Patching BN13 3UJ. It is easy to find off the east bound carriageway of the A27 between Arundel and Worthing - follow the sign for Patching.

We will go into the park comprising initially a roadway then footpaths through the woods and downs. The walk will be around 2.5 hours including a coffee stop and over slightly rising ground in parts.
We will aim to be back at the cars by say 1230 so we can make the short 5 min drive to The Spotted Cow, High Street, Angmering Village BN16 4AW for lunch. As organisers we will lead the way but it is easy to find by going into the village off the roundabout on the by pass, then left just after the Arun Angling Centre, then up the hill turn left at the end and the pub is about 300m away at the end of the High Street. It has its own car park.
