The Clipper Race Finale

The Clipper Race Finale: The world?s greatest ocean sailing adventure returns to Portsmouth on 25th July 2026, after an eleven-month, 47,000-mile race around the world. This CYC cruise is being arranged to meet and greet the returning yachts and crews and join in with the party. The Clipper yachts fleet will gather in the bay east of Bembridge and then proceed under motor to Gunwharf Quays in procession. Simon Fraser, RC Yachts will be crewing on Team Punta del Este and Michael Olliff RC Dinghies will be crewing on Team Qingdao on this final leg of the race. CYC member Tim Ellert also braved the Bay of Biscay on Team Tongyeong in September 2025.We will aim to meet up with the Clipper boats as they go into Portsmouth and join in the celebrations before a dinner out.
