CYC October Ramble: Backside of Kingley Vale

We will meet at 10am at The Barley Mow, Walderton, PO18 9ED. The pub says that you can use their Car Park if you are dining. If you are just walking then please park at the end of the road and walk down. Also, we are requested to park closely to each other to ensure that enough room is left for other visitors.

When we arrive at the pub they will take our orders for lunch to make the lunchtime as smooth as possible.

The walk has some relatively steep climbs but these are rewarded by some splendid views of the harbour and coast (weather permitting). The walk is just over 5 miles long. There is an option to skip about a mile but this will miss the best views.

We will take a short break at the top of Kingley Vale and enjoy the views and refreshments if you bring them. Then it is all downhill back for lunch.
