The walk will start at the Black Rabbit public house at Arundel BN18 9PB, Tel 01903 882638.  Parking at the pub is available for all walk participants.

Leaving at 10:00, We will walk around Swanbourne lake then up and over the downs and return to the Black Rabbit along the river Arun via the village of South Stoke. This is a challenging walk as there is steep incline, a long descent and several stiles to negotiate along the way.

As this is same date as the Cruise Leaders’ supper we have not booked any tables at the pub for lunch as we thought that people would not wish to eat out twice in one day. For those who wish to stay for lunch they will need to make their own bookings.

The Black Rabbit will take bookings for a table of up to twelve people but will require a five pounds per head deposit which will be deducted from your final bill.
