Socials: CYC Ramblers – Bosham by Foot, Ferry & Bus

The walk will start at CYC – meet at 09.30 for a 10am start.

The walk is along the footpath to Itchenor.

We then catch the ferry from Itchenor to Bosham – max capacity is 12 people per trip (so 2 ferry journeys for the whole party). The ferry runs on Saturdays throughout the year but is cancelled if there are very high winds.

We then walk along the foreshore to Bosham village, where we will lunch will be at the Berkeley Arms.

After lunch the walk continues to the main road (A259) to get a bus into Chichester. Then another bus from Chichester back to CYC, the walk is between 4 & 5 miles and flat.

Another option after lunch is to re-trace the route and go back via Itchenor to CYC.

The maximun numbers for the walk and lunch is 24.
