Yachts: Folly Cruise

The cruise takes us back to Cowes Yacht Haven where we will meet for a pontoon party on evening one; own arrangements for dining that evening – there are several excellent hostelries within an easy walk of the Yacht Haven.  The next day we take the leisurely journey up the Medina to the Folly moorings.  The  walkashore moorings have been booked which usually results in three on the pontoon, then rafted three deep, the rest being accommodated on the mid-river pontoons.  Local visits include the short walks to Newport, Osborne House and St Mildred’s Church. An evening meal has been booked at the picturesque and welcoming Folly Inn. Depart the following day for your home berth or head round to Newtown Creek to join Chris Lane’s cruise. In previous years the 10 places and all reserves have been accommodated on this cruise.
