Yachts: “Official” Round the Island Race

Last year we had 5 boats from CYC complete in the official Round the Island Race. As a club, we can enter teams of three boats to complete for the team trophy as well as individual honours. Last year we finished in the Top 10, aided massively by the fact there were only 10 teams! It would be great if we could enter at least one team this year and try and improve on that position. So, I’ve put this here as a way of logging your participation in the main race so I can include you in our team. I will set up some comms so we can all keep in touch on the day and update each other on our progress.

Please be aware that skippers will be responsible for their own entrance into the race and arranging berthing etc. Just for the avoidance of doubt, this event will not count towards our “Race Skipper of the Year” series.
