Yachts Cruise to Newtown Creek & RYS Cowes

We will leave Chichester on Tuesday ahead of the 11.48 high tide in order to catch the spring tide outside the harbour, which will whisk us down to Newtown Creek. We will spend the evening on buoys or anchors in Newtown Creek. On Wednesday we sail the relatively short distance to the Royal Yacht Squadron Harbour in Cowes, where we have approximately 12 berths reserved, all with power available.  If we end up with more than 12 boats on the cruise, then the additional boats can make their own berthing arrangements in another Cowes marina, but join us for dining at the RYS.  We have provisionally booked 30 places for a two course evening meal at the Royal Yacht Squadron for approximately 20 pounds a head.  Rather than having a pontoon party, we will meet for drinks in the RYS at 6.30 pm before the meal. Final details of dining arrangements and dress code to be made available near the time. On Thursday morning we return to Chichester.
