How To – First Aid, February 2019
Hazel Wright, a very experienced Nursing Sister gave an excellent ‘How To’ talk upon First Aid on board.
It was a wide ranging presentation providing examples of head injury, stroke, heart attack, UTI, septic shock and seasickness situations. In addition she discussed when and how to use Pan Pan and Mayday requests for assistance.
The briefing notes were excellent as was the laminated radio instructions leaflet.
