Optimist Open 2026

Chichester Yacht Club was delighted to host the Souths Optimist sailors for an open meeting this weekend. 

The weather was glorious and we were blessed with some excellent breeze for the highly competitive racing. Congratulations to all sailors in the main and regatta fleets and special mentions to Oscar Stephens from Bosham SC finishing ahead of Toby Jones in a close second place as first CYC boat in the main fleet. Also congratulations to Witek Boniki from North Herts and East Beds SC for first place in the Regatta Fleet with Charlotte Morrell as first CYC boat. Thank you to all our CYC volunteers for putting on such a great day and we look forward to welcoming the Optimists back next year.
