Salterns Way and Fishbourne Walk

About 30 CYC walkers set off from the Woolpack carpark in beautiful sunshine. 

We walked through Fishbourne Meadow and Fishbourne churchyard on our way round to Salterns Way which was reasonably dry underfoot all the way to the edge of the marina where we had our coffee break. Having discovered a few days before that the marina end of the path alongside the creek was very muddy, we retraced our steps down Salterns way as far as Dell Quay, where we joined the coastal path back to Fishbourne. We had a very reasonably priced buffet lunch at the Woolpack, who provided us with as much soup, sandwiches and chips as we could eat. 

It was an exceptional day weatherwise for the middle of December, with plenty of sunshine and warmth, perfect for the walk
