Yachts: The Bramidge Trophy Race: CYC v CCRC

Our light-hearted but slightly more competitive race of the year against the Chichester Cruiser Racer Club. This will be a day race out in Hayling Bay returning to the club for tea and medals afterward. Please do sign up for this event, as the honour of CYC really is at stake. CCRC are very keen racers, and their boats do not have the same wine and spirt collections on board as the typical CYC boat. As such we have negotiated more favourable handicaps for your fleet. CCRC managed to beat us last year by a matter of minutes so this year we need to do our best to get the trophy back behind our bar.

Start time likely to be mid-morning but this will be confirmed closer to the day.

The race will be followed by supper at the club (19:00 for 20:00) where the action of the day can be analysed over your beverage of choice. More details will be sent out nearer the time.
