Yachts and Motors Cruise and Dinner at the Royal Yacht Squadron

On Saturday 19th August, despite ominous weather predictions, 8 yachts and 3 motor boats made it to Cowes, while a further 5 boat crews took the ferry across to join us.

It was a pleasant evening, and we enjoyed drinks in the sunshine on the lawn at the Royal Yacht Squadron, with a superb view of the QM2 making its way out to sea. This was followed by a guided tour of the main castle building, prior to sitting down for an excellent two course buffet in the pavilion.

Those returning to Chichester on Sunday enjoyed a pleasant westerly wind to take them home, whilst others went their own way to continue out on the water.
